KINDERGARTEN CLOSURE PROGRAMMING
We offer optional full care care for parents of Kindergarten children whose schools have a closure for Kinderstart days. Only those children currently enrolled in MAX Families After School Program are eligible to access this supplemental programming.
When we are notified of a Kindergarten closure day we will post the time slot in the booking calendar and open it for registration. If you do not see your schools Kindergarten closure date in the booking calendar contact us at registration@maxfamilies.ca
KINDERGARTEN CLOSURE DAY DETAILS
LOCATION, SCHOOLS SERVICED & HOURS OF OPERATION
For Mount Pearl & CBS facilities the location being offered will be dependent upon enrollment. If enrollment is low we will contact you 48 hours in advance to let you know the Kindergarten Closure day will be offered out of the 34 New Cove Road location.
34 New Cove Road will always remain open for Kindergarten Closure days and will be the alternative location that's offered in the case enrollment is low at Salvation Army Church, Mount Pearl or the St. Thomas of Villanova Parish, CBS.

PRICING
$32 per day for one child.
REGISTRATION
If you require full day care during a Kindergarten Closure day you must register you child a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the start of the day.
We cannot accept late registrations.
Cancellation Policy: To obtain a full refund you must cancel a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the start of the day. Refunds will not be given past the 48 hour cut-off.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A KINDERGARTEN CLOSURE DAY
- Send your child with morning & afternoon snack and a lunch. There will be three scheduled food breaks throughout the day. Food must be non-microwaveable. Check the welcome email for specific food allergies (you will receive an email 24 hours in advance of the day).
- Proper outside attire appropriate for the current weather conditions.
- Indoor sneakers.
- Electronics are not permitted.
- Transportation is not provided during these days. You will need to drop your child off to us.

In the booking calendar below, click on the closure day slot you wish to book and when the pop up window appears click the "Drop In" button to book that slot.
Please note: Registration will close 48 hours prior to each closure day in our calendar, so please be sure to book prior to that time. If registration is closed the time slot will be watermarked in the calendar.

Please note that if our system detects more than 30 minutes of inactivity in your browser, your registration spots will no longer be reserved and you will need to begin again. There is a countdown clock on once you have clicked the "Add" button so you can see how much time you have remaining to finish your booking.
